The Burke Mountain Bike Park Lift has been fixed and will be in operation this weekend!
Burke Mountain Bike Park was the location for an Enduro World Series Event last year. The mountain is located in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, within the network of trails known as the Kingdom Trails. This has to be one of the most visited trail systems in the United States throughout the summer months. Though most of the trails surrounding East Burke are mellower cross-country and flow trails, the runs at the bike park and above offer a serious technical challenge.
Classic runs that are commonly used for enduro races are Upper and Lower J-Bar, DH Trail, and Dead Moose Alley. These tracks drop from the top of the mountain and require either a shuttle or pedal to reach the start. The trails drop elevation quickly and are packed with mostly natural features to keep riders on their toes. Access to trails such as Knightslayer and Jester can be attained by the Sherburne Express Lift in the bike park and give riders the option of large jump trails with significant airtime.

Ebikes are not allowed at any time and may lead to disqualification if ridden.

Racers may make one class change per season. No points will carry over to the new class when a racer upgrades or downgrades their class.

- Racers Must start with their class and at the assigned time. If a racer misses their class starting times, they will incur a time penalty or disqualification.
- Final Class Results will be posted 5 minutes after the last racer finishes in each class.
- Each racer’s time and current positioning will be available as soon as they finish.
- We will award medals and prizes at our tents 15 minutes after the Final Class Results have been posted.
- No Reruns unless the course is closed during your race run.

- Refunds are available less a $20 handling fee until 14 days before the event.
- Race entries cannot be transferred to a different event

ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSES ON WEDNESDAY AT MIDNIGHT BEFORE THE EVENT
Once activated it is imperative that Racers DO NOT Allow their Race chips to be idle near the start or finish beacons; The chips will constantly read the times broadcast by the beacons. The timing chips have a capacity of 100 time stamps and will quickly run out of space. After reading 100 time stamps, the timing chip will no longer read any more times. As a result, no times will be recorded, and you will be declared a DNF.
Enduro Racers MUST hand in their timing chips within 15 minutes after finishing the last stage or they will be penalized 1 minute. After 30 minutes racers will be DQ’d from the event

CAMPING:
Burke Mountain Stans Enduro CAMPING INFO: Overnight parking is available in the Burke Mountain Lots for $20, RVs included. Porta-Potties onsite. Burke will be accepting cash or card payments on-site Friday & Saturday night. There is no electric, water, or sewage hookup.
There are also several full-facility campgrounds in the area.
We will be onsite Friday afternoon, but please understand we cannot do any registration on Friday. We have a lot of courses to set up, and we really want to ride our bikes too !
We will be offering our Maxxis ESC Socks, Pint Glasses, and T-Shirts at our registration tents. Please remember its cash only

In the event of a tie, the best position at the most recent event takes precedence.
No minimum number of races is needed to qualify for Series Championship Standings
All ties will be broken by placement in the Championship Finals Race.
Any age may race in the Pro Open Class.
Any age may race in a younger class except for 19-29 racers.
Women can race in women’s classes or age groups.
ESC races will be scored using the MAXXIS ESC point schedule.
Only one bike may be used per event.

YOUTH 14U CLASS
- The 14U Class will do the same stages and in the same order as Kate’s Kids’ Class
- The 14U Class will have guides at most events. Racers must stay with the guides during the Race

KATE’S KIDS’ CLASS
- The Kate’s Kids’ Class preregistration fee is 100% Refunded after a parent volunteers and completes course marshaling for the race on Sunday.
- Parents must register to volunteer at the racer’s online registration time to be eligible for the refund.
- All you need is a fun attitude and a cell phone in case of an emergency.
- Late or onsite registrations will incur the $10 late fee and not be eligible for the volunteer refund.
- In the Enduro, racers in this class will compete in fewer race segments than other racers.
- This is the for the FUN Class!!
- The KATES Kids Class will compete on fewer race sections. Our Enduro Staff will conduct a course ride along on Saturday, times vary by venue so make sure to check.. Meet at the Registration Tents. The racers in the Kate’s Kids’ Class can only participate in one discipline at Thule Showdowns.

KATE’S ENDURO LITE CLASS
This class will race for a reduced rate thanks to KATE’S REAL FOOD and the MAXXIS Eastern States Cup. This class is intended for beginner and new enduro racers to experience the excitement of enduro racing. Participants will receive a total race time and a time for each segment but will not compete for Maxxis ESC Podiums, Prizes, or the Series Championship. This class is all about having fun! The Kate’s Enduro Lite format provides enjoyable tracks for riders of all levels, focusing on women, kids, and first-timers. The emphasis is on learning and having a good time with like-minded mountain bikers rather than results or prizes. Parents of 12U and 14U can enter this class to practice and/or race with their children.
PLEASE NOTE: KATE’S Lite Class racers must stay with the KATE’S Kids Class and race the segments in the same order. KATE’S Enduro Lite Class Racers may only compete in enduro at our Thule Showdown Events.
MAXXIS ESC Stan’s Enduro Series Race Podium
The top 5 racers in each class will make the podium, with the first, second, and third place receiving custom Eastern States Cup Podium Medals. The fourth and fifth places will receive prizes from Kate’s Real Food. Some venues may offer additional prizes as part of their enhanced prize packages.

Kate’s Cash, When the number of racers in the men’s amateur class exceeds 50 or in the women’s amateur class exceeds 20, the class will receive a cash prize in addition to regular product prizes. The cash will be awarded as follows:

INFORMATION:
- NO SHUTTLING– That goes for all weekend for everyone. If you are seen/reported/caught/whatever shuttling, you will be assessed a time penalty. Trust us, you will not be on the podium if you try, so don’t.
- NUMBER PLATES– Will be sold at registration for $10 each. A 2024 MAXXIS ESC Number Plate must be affixed correctly to your bike always while on the tracks. You will not be allowed to ride without one. No cuts or trimming allowed on the plate, please.
- CASH ONLY– NO, ATMs on site.
- BUG SPRAY – You will want it, and please don’t ask for ours…lol
- COLD – Temps expected in the 30’s overnights
- RAIN – Don’t even go there !!
