** NOTE: All riders at Arrowhead on Saturday and Sunday must be registered racers with number plates. Can you imagine how crowded Arrowhead would be if all racers brought a friend?

Ebikes allowed only for Cannondale Ebike Racers at Arrowhead Recreation Area from Saturday 8am-Sunday 4pm

Get ready for an epic racing experience at the Arrowhead Recreational Area! Brace yourself for a heart-pounding 6-stage race that will push your skills to the limit across a variety of terrain.

Stage 5: Fist Full of Cake

Stage 6: Special K

We’ve arranged a full day of practice on Saturday to get those gears spinning and fine-tune your technique.

Oh, and one more thing – this race won’t be lift-assisted. That means you better be prepared to pedal hard during the transfers. It’s all part of the challenge that awaits you at the Arrowhead Recreational Area!

If you have not pre- purchased your required 2024 Maxxis ESC Number Plate, you can pick one at the registration tents. The cost is $10 (cash only) and are to be used for the entire 2022 race season. The high quality Box race plate retails for $20.

 

 

The NEUTRAL PIT AREA is the Arrowhead Parking lot only, no outside assistance allowed elsewhere including the transfers, feed tent and race segments. No stashing of anything allowed on course. Registered racers can always assist each other however.

 

NO SHUTTLING – That goes for everyone from 9 am Saturday to the events end Sunday. If you are seen/reported/caught/whatever shuttling, you will be assessed a time penalty. Trust us you will not be on the podium if you try, so don’t.

WAIVERS
All racers must sign a MAXXIS ESC and a venue waiver before practicing or registering at all events. Racers under 18 must have a parent sign their waiver or supply a notarized parental signed copy. Pre-registered Races do not need to sign a waiver or have it notarized for those under 18.

Racers must be present when their class is called up to activate their chips. Do not start the race without doing so or you will not get your racing times and be DQ’d.

 

ALL RACERS

We will NOT have printed maps for this event as the course is easy to follow, so if you want one please print it. Please review the 2024 MAXXIS ESC Enduro rules on our website, there have been some changes, so it would be best to read everything.

 

Pro Racers Must be on the podium when called to receive any prizing – For all other classes we will be calling up the top 5 racers 10 minutes after their class has completed and the results have been posted.

 

Racers must be present when their class is called up to activate their chips. Do not start the race without doing so or you will not get your racing times and be DQ’d.

We will announce the starting order at the Racers Meeting.

 

ROLLING AWARDS

This means you can pick up your medals and any prizing immediately after the results have been posted and the 15 minute “Protest Period” have passed. We will have the podium and backdrops set up for podium pictures. We will host a quick awards ceremony after both events have ended for all Pro Racers, the FTD Stage and the Fox Climbers Challenge.

 

 

SPECIAL Arrowhead  RULES

We hate rules as much as you do but to be able to have an event at Arrowhead we must enforce the following event specific rules.

 

NUMBER PLATES – All racers must always have a 2024 Maxxis ESC Number plate attached to their bike while riding on the race tracks after 9am Saturday until event end on Sunday afternoon. If you have not paid for your 2024 Maxxis ESC number plate or registration, please note it is $10 CASH only

 

Cannondale E Bike Class – The Cannondale Ebike Class will compete on all 6 stages..

 

ONLY Cannondale Ebike Class Racers may use E bikes from 8 am Saturday to the events end Sunday on the trails at Arrowhead.

NO SHUTTLING – That goes for everyone from 8 am Saturday to the events end Sunday. If you are seen/reported/caught/whatever shuttling, you will be assessed a time penalty. Trust us you will not be on the podium if you try, so don’t.

$100 TIMING CHIPS We will be using our SIAC Fly By timing system for this event. Please note if you do not return the SIAC Timing Chip you will owe us $100. Yes they cost that much. Other enduro series require the racers to use their own or rent them plus a deposit. We trust our racers until proven otherwise so please make sure to return the chip if you decide to leave early.

 

Please Note: GPS units on bars or stem may interfere with the SIAC Timing Chip so it’s best not to use one

 

Racers must be present at the racers meeting, where we will activate their chips.

 

Please drive slowly through neighborhood while visiting Claremont, we do not want to upset the neighbors and please visit the local restaurants and let them know you are there because of the enduro race.

 

Back again this season is the INTENSE BIKES PODIUM PAYBACK Program that pays cash or certificates to racers that have raced with an Intense bike and have registered with Intense here: https://intensecycles.com/pages/podium-payback-program

We will be offering our Maxxis ESC Socks, Pint Glasses and T Shirts at our registration tents, please remember its cash only.

ONSITE FOOD AND BEVERAGES:

EPIC FOOD TRUCK: will be on site Friday night- Sunday for dinner

 

Arrowhead’s recreational Club Onsite Kitchen will be serving breakfast Saturday-Sunday morning. Sausage, egg and cheese or bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches.

The Beer garden will be open Friday night 5pm till close, Saturday 12pm till close and Sunday 12pm to close!

Food and beer garden is open to the public!

 

CAMPING:

ESC Race Onsite Camping @ Arrowhead $30/weekend – Limited tent and van/truck camping will be available at the Arrowhead race site. Travel trailers and motorhomes will not be allowed on site. No utility hookups are on site; the surface is a mixture of dirt and pavement.

Racers can email camp@arrowheadnh.com to reserve sites at $30/weekend.
Portable toilets will be available. Sites will be assigned on the day of arrival. Arrival time on Friday is no sooner than 3:00 PM; arrival time on Saturday is no sooner than 8:00 AM; departure time on Sunday is no later than 7:00 PM.

CASH will be accepted onsite for camping as long as there are spots available

WAIVERS / REGISTRATION FORMS – All racers must check in at registration and fill out the registration and waiver forms before riding the trails after 9am Saturday.

  • Youth 14U, Kate’s Kids Class and Kates Enduro Lite Class – Will compete on sections 5-6-1-2 in that order. Our Staff will conduct a course ride along on Saturday at 11am. Meet at the Registration Tents. The above may be adjusted, so please check with us at Registration. No parents may ride with or run behind their children unless they are registered racers
