What the heck are the Vittoria ESC Super Champs?
In the past few years the ESC hosted the Vittoria ESC Super Championships after the season ended. It was originally meant to crown the best of the Atlantic DH and the New England DH Series. We opened it up to other series racers, ran qualifying and a final round of racing but the format and location never really caught on with ESC racers.
We still want to crown Vittoria ESC Super Champions, with our new format it will be a battle between New England and Atlantic DH Champions. It’s a simple format that we believe works well by balancing the season’s series races and the Series Finals race. The format will crown the best of the best in every ESC DH racer class.
2015 Vittoria ESC Super Champion Richie Rude
The Vittoria ESC Super Championships will be determined by the finishing spot between the New England and Atlantic Champion in the Series Finals Race. With this race run the Series Champions and the Super Champions will be decided. This exciting format will have all the top ESC DH racers going for the win.
The Pro’s will be battling it out for the $1000 Super Championship bonus on top of their $750 Series Championship purse. If they also win that race the Men’s and/or the Women’s Pro Super Champ would take home $2250 on the day! All totaled Pro Payouts on the day will be $8600!!!
2014 Vittoria ESC Super Champion Richie Rude
All Super Champs will be awarded the coveted Vittoria ESC Brass Cup. The pros get a ton of cash and amateurs will take home some really cool product.
The Atlantic and New England Champs will be awarded the 2016 Vittoria Championship Jersey and the top three a custom glass Championship Plaque along with sponsor prizing.
